To be honest, I can't for the life of me, figure out where I am in the crowd. At 6'4", I was l poking up a bit above the crowd, as I always do and should be visible in shots that came my way. My best guess is that I'm consistently off camera to the right; So, not a lot to freak out about.
And the tagging scene... I didn't really get that. (Did you notice that it's the same guard that goes after Sam on the roof?).

Here's what I wrote:

ZackAttack,
I saw your recent announcement that you were giving up the Flynn Lives movement and shutting down shop, saying that, “Flynn Lives in all of us.” At the time I agreed with you, it seemed like we had done all we could and the best thing now is to just move on and look to the future.
However, I recently stumbled upon an old video from the movement created shortly after Kevin’s disappearance, and it inspired me. In this short call to action you were so passionate and so willing to pursue whatever means necessary to find Flynn that it makes me think perhaps we are giving up too soon.
I know that these 20 years have been hard on you, they’ve been hard on us all, and it’s difficult to keep hoping that he’s still out there despite all the naysayers. However, there is reason to hope. Now that Sam is taking his father’s company back and has given power at Encom to those who most deserve it, Alan Bradley and Roy Kleinberg , TRON and RAM themselves, I think our movement, now more than ever can be effective, not only in supporting the new Encom, but also in continuing our search for Kevin Flynn.
I’ve only been a member since March of last year, but I’ve always admired Flynn’s work and when I discovered your movement I knew immediately that I needed to support it. Breaking into the Encom Intranet, discovering Flynn’s personal server, skipping class and driving two hours to help other members complete the side channel attack; I did everything I could to help with the movement, and what we discovered at the end… there has to be more we can do.
I guess the point of this letter is to say that I’m still with you, and I still believe Flynn Lives. Whenever the time comes I’ll be ready to continue the search.
Awaiting your word,

I sent off a bunch of pictures that I had taken over the year with little sharpie notes on the backs of them. I also included my username, badge number, address and email address. If you put all the pics together it formed a qrcode which I thought they would get a kick out of.

BrerRabbit24 - they've already answered that, but more importantly... how big do you think their PO box is? ... Hmm... Sometimes I mean to cause mischief, but only the enjoyable kind. javascript:emoticon(' ')

The Next Day Address???
| IllusionOfLife wrote: |
I pre-ordered the set from Amazon, but had it delivered to my house instead of my P.O. Box at school so I didn't get it until last weekend. Then the weekend ended up being crazy busy and I never had time to watch, so yesterday I watched TRON and the new bonus features, and today I finally got to TRON: Legacy and it's bonus features.
TRON: The Next Day was so cool and was a really neat capper to the whole ARG experience. I was happy enjoying this last bit of closure, and then, the address and a request for mail comes up on screen. I'm writing the letter now, and I'm going to send it off as soon as I possibly can. I'm really hoping something comes of this, I can't imagine they're starting a new ARG now since Kosinski is set to direct Oblivion with Universal starting this fall, and then is in the works to direct The Black Hole, but I don't know why else they would give us something that so blatantly indicates a next step in the campaign.
Either way, I'm very curious and very excited. Now… what to write? |
What address? Where in the clip does it show this?

Black Hole date was based of IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1561766/ which I know is not concrete. But I think that Tron 3 may take less time to create since most of the effects have already been developed. Sure there should be new stuff but I'm just guessing that they could go start to finish in 18 months if pressed by Disney.

Live action films typically take about two years from start to finish, and Kosinski is supposedly going to be starting work on Oblivion for Universal this fall, meaning that the earliest we'll see Oblivion is 2013. After that he'd come back to Disney and if he skipped The Black Hole and started immediately on TRON 3, there's be another two years, meaning the absolute earliest TRON 3 would come out is 2015.
Four years is an awfully long time to sustain an ARG, especially for a product that hasn't been officially green lit yet. Yes, Kosinski and co. are working on a script, and everyone wants to do another, but until Disney gives the final go ahead, it's all just a pipe dream for now.
Also, I'm not sure where you're getting the information for The Black Hole being set for 2012, but I think that estimate is way off by this point because he's currently working on Oblivion, and there's no way he's going to finish both pictures in a year and a half.

If you think about it Kosinski 's Black Hole is slated for a 2012 release which would possible put Tron 3 at late 2013 or early 2014 which is only 2 years away. The Tron Legacy ARG started at Comic-Con 2009 and the movie was released end of 2010 almost a 2 year span. So starting the next ARG this summer or fall or winter would not be that far of a stretch.
