Hey, I stumbled on the this site and ARGs while exploring what sites are similar to a project that I am developing:
http://qrwild.com
The idea is people can create their own "games" with QR code game pieces for others to find and scan with their smartphones. A game is completed when a player finds all the game pieces in a sequence. The game creator enters a message displayed to the player for each game piece, usually this message will be a hint to where the remaining game pieces are hidden. I hadn't thought much about its relationship to alternate reality games, but from what I am reading here, perhaps QR Wild can be used in a alternate reality game or as a complete alternate reality game?
What do you guys think?
