And actually I'm really happy to get the pics closest to the action as possible, even with spoiler danger
I'm just a making-of-junkie, lol!

Hi moon>smoker99 -
Do you mean maybe I'm not really living here in Weirton? If so - yep I've lived here my whole life. I'm not sure how my posts hold too much info. As far as being too close - when they were shooting here I got as close to the action as I could.

Trailer soon?
Let's just hope that a new trailer shows up during the release of that paramount Jeff Bridges wild west movie coming out. Think it's called True Grit or something like that...

It was not difficult for an onlooker to record the crew shooting the movie. There were usually a lot of people watching and security could only do so much. I'm surprised that more didn't get out on the internet. There were everyday onlookers who had better vantage points than the makers of the 'leaked' videos that I've seen. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think they're part of the ARG.

flibble666;
The impossibility of restricting fans from areas that are not cordoned off when a movie is being shot is something that movie crews are used to.
The fact that the film was/is being shot in a business/residential area makes it a certainty that fans will be able to snatch vids/shots of filming, and in doing such, it's highly plausible that they will be sold, or uploaded to the net.
If Team JJ wants to throw us a "bone" by including within the shooting schedule accessible to the public something that will assist us in our ARGventure, let's find it. If you see something within any of the vids that looks suspicious, point it out and let's begin the analysis.

Did anyone save the Quick2000 video?

im still not convinced these videos are not included in the viral as i discussed a few pages back i can see the odd photo but a video rite next to the crew seems a bit iffy. also the vid posted by bk1 is not his video it was posted days befor on another site and Quick2000 youtube has been clared of videos. Im not saying bk1 is apart of the viral but it all just seems a bit easy to stumble on to a film set and start filming your own footage @Rocket Mountaineer have you or any people in the town had to sign any kind of NDA i worked with nda's in the past and brakeing them can be quite serious.
if the footage is real then im gessing we are not ment to be using it for clues in the agr such as the bus thing unless jj is playing really kool games and using peoples leaked photos etc as aprt of the game as its leaked

LOL!
I was thinking about the "penny fall" while reading through!

Red Cozmopol (hee, hee)
Recall initially when Josh posted comments from we posters--I can't recall the ones that are still up but the first letters of their names come out to be D, R, E, A, M, but there was one that was posted for awhile that mentioned either "super8" or "super eight" in the comment.
That comment was up only briefly before unceremoniously being removed. I looked in the Game Summary and couldn't find it--perhaps an oversight on my part, or Multi's, but it definitely was on the HLS site, albeit for a short period of time.
Anyone else recall what the removed post said?
EDIT: Headman, Ras, et al, here's an interesting link on the falling projectile controversy:

Ahh Ras, the age old argument of falling bullets killing people. I have seen this argued to no end. In reality it's highly unlikely for that to happen. I won't get into the whole science of it but basically a bullet wont fall as fast as it was shot up! The terminal velocity of a small bullet tumbling back to earth simply isn't enough to kill someone. It's a one in a million chance. Besides, if there was a big monster or alien ship attacking do you think we would be worried about where we were shooting in the air? No Sir! And in case you did not know, I just retired after 20 years of active military service and worked in Explosive Ordinance and an expert marksman. We studied this very thoroughly, it is very dangerous and will be painful but highly unlikely to be lethal. But hey, why do you think we wear helmets.

Good comments, Kosmopol (or should I say Cozmopol?), recall when Josh posted a comment from, was it Gordon(?), where as part of the comment where was an allusion to supereight (or ?
That was strange--it's hard to believe that that was an accident, and not intentional in some way. |
Hehe, you can call me for duration of this ARG Cozmopol, lol.
Anyway, which comment do you mean? They have perhaps plenty of easter eggs we haven't still decoded
