Btw, it looks like this text-placeholder was also used in Twin Peaks:

So perhaps it's just more "English" placeholder than just "Lorem Ipsum", but anyway funny thing with two Spielberg movies. I wonder now, which textes are usually used in such scenes with newspapers or magazins...

The same issue of the Lillian Journal was in the paper box and on the shelf. I don't think there was another issue. I've heard that the whole movie takes place in one day in 1979. I don't know how accurate this is, but, if so, it would make sense that there would be just this one issue. I only got to see the top half of the front page - so I don't know what was printed on the rest of it.

Btw, in this context we have to distinguish between the placeholder textes and textes, which were actually written (like headers and sometimes whole articles). Because since (if) they aren't copied, but really written, there was an intention behind.

So we have to be very aware about non-placeholder textes.
And we will appreciate every further picture of such newspapers Wink

I wonder, whether there is just only one issue for the movie, or whether they change the newspapers (to better simulate the chronology). It would mean more work for newspaper props, but more authenticity and, perhaps, more hints for us! Very Happy
