Well if the theory of different postcards being sent depending on how far you are away from California is correct, I'll let everyone know when my stuff arrives. I'm in a country town in Queensland Australia and you can't get much further away than that

Bah! How'd I miss this update?
Well it's July 1st, so likely no mail delivery today in Canada... hopefully something will be here by Friday.
I'm with those who think this will lead to a new website or page somewhere, either for a video reveal or perhaps info about might be happening in/around comiccon.

Came home from work today and saw a cool postcard , Arc Wars on the counter so I pick it up and see Encom on the bottom. Excited I flip it over to find what looked like a magnetic strip. New puzzle, awesome.
Immediately come here to compare. Nothing different from the other posted examples.
I've been trying to compare it to Braille, Gray code and other early programming no luck so far. It does remind me of the very old paper tape, Baudot, Flexowriter, etc.

This resembles old IBM System 3 code but I've tried it a few different ways and it's still jibberish.
Like many others, I'm thinking... still too soon.

I need to find a way to image this and share.
Check out page 4 of this thread. But you did win a nice fish!

Been playing the FL ARG since the start, but just getting into contributing here (I've been over at SUPER 8 for a while now). Adding this data in light of previous questions and trends:
-I live in SoCal, SF Valley not far from Pasadena.
-I received the Arc Wars card design today
-Postmarked on the 29th but no city visible - guessing Santa Clarita (yes, a major distribution hub here) postmark stamp is well worn, it's quite illegible.
-Arc Wars 'bio' has no year listed
Worth noting: assuming all the postcards originated from the ARG-home in Pasadena and via Santa Clarita, it may take a couple days for cards to get back east unless they mailed them out by most distant zip codes first.
From the samples received by other members, I'm guessing card styles were sent at random. SoCal players have received some if not all four designs by now without any apparent pattern.
Also, I'm guessing these cards will feature somehow at Comic-Con, even if it's only an announcement for players to use their coded card back at the FL.com site (or some newly announced site). I couldn't go to CC last year and can't again this year, but am registered at FL and can assume that's the only 'requirement' for receiving a card. With these being mailed to non-attendees, I think they're just getting cards in players' hands by the CC next-game-phase news for all to play online.
Great detective and black-light image work, everyone!

So it's the end of the day and what do we have?
Multiple forums and multiple articles around the net and we have four different postcards confirmed.
Sooooo... either we're missing something (if there are just four cards) or there's pieces of the puzzle we haven't seen yet (more postcards, most likely being sent to further locations or later dates).
Considering the puzzle in the past with the city names appearing pixel by pixel over a period of days, I tend to consider it likely that there are cards we haven't seen yet.
Anyone have any contrary theories? Any possible ways of decoding the clues given so far that haven't been suggested or fully explored as of yet?

I'm in Pasadena (about a mile from 45E ) and I got an Astro Gunner today.
For those planning on going out to buy a blacklight: you only need it if you plan to post photos on here. Otherwise you can see the pixels just by holding the card at an angle. Don't want anyone to waste their money. Course, a blacklight is as good thing to have as an ARGer

much better! haha!
sorry, my blacklight isnt that powerful
I'm moving this weekend and haven't yet updated my address on the Flynn Lives site, so I doubt I'll ever see my postcard.
Can't you set up a mail redirection? With all the hassle of a move there might be other things you forgot to update.

I wonder if they're sending out specific cards to specific regional areas... So far we're aware of 4 cards. Perhaps other states or other countries get different postcards. That way everyone has to get involved. Otherwise by the time people on the other side of the planet get theirs the code (whatever it may be) will have already been solved.
Guess we'll see!
If this is the case, then I hope someone else in the UK gets all of the Europe ones. I'm moving this weekend and haven't yet updated my address on the Flynn Lives site, so I doubt I'll ever see my postcard.
