How close to SD are you PapaCheesy? Wondering if just people close to SD are getting these or if it's going to everyone. Also curious how far and how quickly these are getting to people who may be farther out. Wonder who will get the all coveted TRON game postcard? That would be a cool one to have.

Anyone who wants to start giving us binary/hex/ASCII for each column, by all means, start away.
I'm also putting them in one image, so I'll try and overlay them as we get more, just in case that reveals something.
I think they're pixels and when overlaid will give us text.

Ok, did it on a grid. I'm moving on to Kraz-Bot, then I'll get Vice Squad.
I may have some errors in spacing in here. I did the best I could with the images.
Will definitely be easier to work with once more postcards start coming in
Maybe start working with some grids/graph paper to better position the bits.

someone mentioned before that FL uses an SD address...just so ya know, i think they mail em out from Pasadena (42E HQ).
i remember once seeing a pasadena postmark of some sort on one of my packages...if it was sent from SD it wouldntve gotten here so fast...pasadena, however is like a 20-25 minute drive from here

Two things spring to mind when I saw those - old computer punch cards, which followed a similar format way, way, way back when and morse code, notice there are dots and dashes.
See if any showed up in the mail when I get home.

after lookin around i found a fan made flynns arcade myspace with some other of Flynn's games on it:
I was thinkin the same thing VanGogh... none of the white squares repeat in the same spot for the other bar. I like the idea about checking ArcadeAid. I'm only seeing 5 games shown on the website but there's gotta be more than that.

Can anyone get a clean scan of this somehow? I think there are 6 pixels per column, but I can't really figure out how many columns there are.
EDIT: NM, just saw the cleaned up ones. I'd say 6 bits is a good start. Hmm...

I wouldn't think they'd just leave out people not in SoCal. That'd pretty much be giving the finger to the rest of us, and I don't think they want to do that. It stands to reason that if this leads to some live stuff at ComicCon, only those close to it can make it - but that doesn't mean we can't all be part of solving the puzzle. Remember that FL is using a SD address, and it looks like the postcards were mailed yesterday - so SoCal folks will probably get them first.
i actually just retook the photos, and re-photoshopped 'em, so feel free to open em up on photoshop and mix and match if one part of the code is clearer on the first post than on this one.
im in the San Fernando Valley, about a 3 hour drive from SD.
i suggest we check out arcadeaid and see how many different games created by Flynn exist...that way we can get an idea of how many different postcards there will be.

Blink, when you overlay them do any of the white pixels from one card match up with any from the second?
I'm thinking there's more than two cards and they must all be overlaid to reveal the text. In which case there wouldn't be any white overlaying each other.
