So kids film something...film is discovered or kept til they're older. Oh, could be that too...maybe too young to realize what they had on film, find it later?

Arrrgggg....just one piece, something...just give us something for a direction. I think JJ is a lovely sadist. I think he has a hidden basement or dungeon in his house where he ties women up and puts a covered plate on a table with only something orange and unidentifiable sticking out and tells them if you guess what this is, you can have it.

Then he goes to Brazil for 6 months.
He is to tiny.

Supposedly a tribute/homage to Spielberg's films of the 70s-early 80s. So that could include visual style, effects style of the era, film stocks, haircuts, anything! Smile

"Super 8 camcorder" is a wonderful collision of technology decades, LOL.

I don't think many assume or believe the SUPER 8 will be 'shot' to look like it was produced with a Super 8 camera. From what we can tell, young people happen to capture something while using their camera to make a film or such.

This 'normal' production mode seems all the more obvious under the theory that Abrams is paying tribute to early Spielberg films like CE3K, which were shot conventionally.

Cool. Indeed reading through entire threads is a time-eating effort, but also an important one so you can follow the *discussion* on a topic, and not just as summary of agreed-upon facts or game discoveries.

Reading it all helps avoid repeating theories, comments, links which others brought up along the way. Those 'little pieces' may spark your imagination much better than a fact summary. Also, reading everything is a cool way to respect the efforts and time of others who have posted before...

... and a handy way to avoid trout dinners, despite their Omega-3 goodness. Very Happy

Yeah I've looked through those, I've been Lurking for a while now but just decided to make an account today.But I just think we should make one to compile everything that we know into one post so you don't have to wade through all the pages to find out everything so far. Also to start a fresh slate for discussion you don't have to go through the entire thread to find out what people are talking about. It was just a thought.

I think someone who has read through the scariestthingieversaw and rocketpoppeteers threads should make a summery of what we know so far. It would help keep people up to date and let new people know whats going on without having to read through hundred of posts to get everything. I think it would also spark some more disscusion and speculation since everybody would be up to date on everything thats happened so far.

Heh, you can find that song for downloading at this archived site:

(You'll have to copy & paste the link. I guess the forum's php doesn't recognize the asterisk.)
Once on the internets, always on the internets... huh? It makes me want to be more thoughtful about what I post.
I didn't scan this funny song before listening, but you all might want to do that just to be safe. It played fine for me on "Real Player". Enjoy it!

And just to be on topic, I think that not enough is going on in this game when there's a player digging in the archives for an old UFO song. Very Happy

The Ballad of the Greys Lyrics
------------------------------

Please Lord if I'm abducted, don't let it be the Greys,
the short little guys with the big black eyes from a galaxy far away;
I've heard the horror stories, being taken in the dead of night,
laid out on a table like a Christmas turkey,
I'm afraid I'd die from fright.

They can paralyze you with their eyes and levitate you out of bed,
pull you right up through the ceiling and start messing with your head;
Now if they would just stop at that I wouldn't mind too much,
but I've heard they'll probe you up and down and you won't like
where they touch.

The witnesses say they're a humorous bunch and by that I'm quite
surprised, do they watch all the reruns of I Love Lucy and
The Best of Saturday Night Live?
I don't wanna be a live experiment; father children in a place unknown,
but they'll splice your genes and make grotesque things;
leave my tadpole guys alone.

Please Lord if I'm abducted, don't let it be the greys,
the short little guys with the big black eyes from a galaxy far away;
I've heard the horror stories, being taken in the dead of night,
laid out on a table like a Christmas turkey,
I'm afraid I'd die from fright.

When Eisenhower signed the treaty, he never thought they'd stay,
maybe hang around long enough to mutilate some cattle and they'd
be on their way;
We built them underground bases and they're feelin' right at home,
like that Dreamland in Nevada where the antelope and aliens roam.
And Art Bell knows what's going on, they probably give him rides for free; for
all we know he's one of them, that's why he's on radio... and not ... TV....
(think about it).

Please Lord if I'm abducted, don't let it be the greys,
the short little guys with the big black eyes from a galaxy far away;
I've heard the horror stories, being taken in the dead of night,
laid out on a table like a Christmas turkey,
I'm afraid I'd die from fright.
Laid out on a table like a Christmas turkey, don't let me die tonight!

...(nanoo-nanoo my foot!)

never heard of it

yes i agree with greys as well but some ufo theorys is the greys work for the draco or reptilion race (its where the V ideas stem from) and reptilion race are hidden on earth after a great war and control us and are gov (g w bush was thought to be one lol by some) some greys rupposedly work at underground dulche base with our gov . not my theories but honest beliefs of some so who know what ideas could be used in this film but everything so far looks lile greys to me
