Yay I'll be able to make a Philatelic Society meeting!

ok i think maybe the june 7th meet up would be the best time to combine post cards. i just got mine and it's a doozey. no series number on it but it is 'key' that i have a partner card...

also wow old stamps.

edit: ok looks like it's not an EPS postcard. still. a doozey.

The meetings are monthly but the space is limited to 60 people ( or at least it said there was only room for 60 at the event but that could be due to only having 60 brochres or only able to fit 60 people around the obalisk). We had mybe 20 people there. I think there might still be a chance to join next month. We'll see. I think it would suck if they closed admission after only the first meeting. ESP. Snce this is supposed to be a way to meet new people.

I was sworn to secrecy when I received it, but I was given an object in clandestine fashion during the meeting of the Elsewhere Philatelic Society that leads me to believe the numismatologists are either infiltrating our stamp club, or seeking to merge with us.

Later, I saw the flier demanding we accept the superiority of the coin, and this only made me more certain that something is afoot.

Does this strike a chord with anyone here?

Is it monthly though? I know they mentioned that the group meets "every month" in the podcast, but the website indicates that "new members" were going to be "processed" on May 3rd. So it could have been a one-time thing.
