I'm the guy selling the shirt on Ebay. Believe me, if this was a XXL, I would have kept it, no problem. I've been unemployed in southern CA for almost a year now, and let me tell you.... it's tough times trying to scrape together enough money for rent these days. After selling off a good portion of my other sci-fi memorabilia, I just couldn't justify hanging onto this shirt.
Had I been aware of these communities ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have gone straight to Ebay first. If it doesn't sell, I'll be sure to come back here and put it up for a true fan to get.
I hope you guys understand

Dude, totally understand. Was NOT trying to bag on you. I've hear of people buying plane tickets to make it out to these things, so selling a shirt to fund that is completely understandable. I just hate these professional Ebayers who go to these things SPECIFICALLY to get schwag to sell on Ebay. My apologies if I offended. Should have been more aware of the facts before speaking.

Jordicus, don't feel bad. You're doing what you need to do to live.
I wish I had a XXL shirt to give you so that you could still pay rent and have something Tron related to enjoy.
Euchre, I agree that buying the items is not the same as getting them through participating in the events, but being in Melbourne my opportunities are limited for participating. I did just travel from Melbourne to Sydney, and back, on the weekend to go to the trailer event, and I am over the moon with the Flynn Lives T-Shirt I now have! I think there would be a lot of fans around the world who would like to have something nifty like this but can't be involved in person in the events.
So as I said, being restricted in what I can be involved in means that if anyone if wanting to sell, regardless of their reasons, I am willing to buy the items because having these Tron related things would mean a lot to me

Hi fellas,
I'm the guy selling the shirt on Ebay. Believe me, if this was a XXL, I would have kept it, no problem. Can't say I'm keen on people hocking their swag too easily, but there may be some folks with swag they'd like to trade around. I imagine somone that got a token at one of the events but didn't make the screening might want a spare shirt someone else may have scored. There's also the matter of the Bits - maybe someone wants a Yes that got a No or Neutral, or some other sort of swap around of those 3.
As much as I'd like a Bit, I'm not keen on buying one - it's just not the same.

Shirt on Ebay
This is a huge bummer, but people are already selling their shirts on Ebay:
Hopefully, this is someone's way of paying for a bus/train/plane ticket to get to the Imax showing but, this will probably price less wealthy fans (like me) out of the market, unless they are given again during the ARG.
I've got a wallet, and don't intend to sell it. But, if I change my mind, I'll offer it within the community. It'd be a really cool thing if we can take care of each other in here. So, if I win swag I don't really care for, I'll put it out here for others to share in the fun.
BTW - This is a great board, and in the little time I've been on, I've met some really cool folks. So kudos to the positive people on here.
Sidenote, would anyone be interested in "Sark Lives" or "MCP Functions" t-shirts - like the "Flynn Lives" shirts, but red? I'd really like to see this grow out of the hands of the marketers, and we make it our own. If enough interest exists I may try to pull a few for fun NOT profit.

I would love to purchase a Flynn's Arcade Token, Flynn's Arcade T-Shirt, Bit, and Tron Wallet!
If anyone is interested in selling theirs, please let me know
I totally understand people not wanting to part with them, but I figure it never hurts to ask.
Thanks all
