Hey planners! I know you're hard at work trying to get everything smoothed out and ready to announce.
Tomorrow's the last day for early registration for summer camp and I was kinda wondering - if you've got two weekends you're trying to narrow it down to or something, could you let us know which ones?

Not that I have much clout, but if it's the week AFTER Comic Con, I totally expect to be back in the states.
But I know that it's probably only a pipe dream.

I feel like I need more info at this point before I can make a commitment.

that would be great if you were to make it for both too
methinks the option for comiccon should be 'officialized' insomuch that it's tracked to some degree on the argfest wiki, just so people know who's planning on attending both, and to organize pooling and crashing where desired...

As a quick FYI, we are currently working on ARGFest '09 and hope to be able to announce a date within about two weeks.
So...?
On Comic-Con, I tried to do that last year, but costs of flights ended up being the dealbreaker for me. Obviously that won't be so much of an issue this time (especially if anyone doesn't mind me sharing their car with them!) so I might plan it, too. I do like to make my ARGfest trips into proper vacations, to justify going out to the US

I am also up for carpooling with So Cal ARGers. And going to ComicCon the week before/after would be awesome!

Just please, not the weekend of the 4th because I will still be in Europe. Otherwise, whenever - I'll be there!! I'd love to do the Comicon thing, too, if I can make the travel logistics work.

Portland is just not far enough from Miami, guys. Can you move it Seattle? Or Alaska? Or India?

I toll ya. Honolulu. Hey Nighthawk! If we ever hold it in Miami can I crash on your floor? Just found out my baby brother is getting married, but they haven't set a date yet, so I need to know so I can tell him to have it the week before or after. There are certain priorities...

Another good reason to get dates determined soon is that ComicCon is on the 22nd-26th... I for one would love to make a double-event trip out of it this year, and the weeks are slowly eroding away... the sooner plans can be made, the better, for people who are traveling greater distances...
I too plan on doing this {thanks to an AWESOME Celina!!!} Should the dates work out back to back weekends... I would love to hear who else is hoping to do this!!

It'd be nice to know the dates. I managed to miss S.F. and since we try to switch coasts, it'd be likely that I wouldn't be able to attend for yet another 2 years.
If I can work it out as far as dates, I can drive.
We could call it, "INK, Part Deux".
My commuter (Camry wagon) recently became eligible to drink and gamble and has more miles than an Apollo mission (seriously), but it's fairly comfortable and very reliable.
If you could catch the train to Sac., we could all just meet at the station. I've ridden the Sac.<->S.F. commuter train several times and it's a fairly quick trip. Not sure about trains/service in S.J.

I'd like to attend. I am split between flying or driving it. If anyone else from NorCal is going and driving can you guys send me a private message? I would really be interested in carpooling it.
I'm split between taking the train, driving alone, or not going at all. Has anyone considered nico's request to car pool from the SF Bay Area? It turns out I won't be able to take my car with me.
