Well if you don't wanna, you don't hafta.

There are quite a few folks around here who are on Twitter, which Brightkite interfaces with. Twitter's been so flaky lately that it's almost more annoying to try to use it than it is to quit it.

I'm looking at the website...it seems interesting but I am not sure I completely understand it. Is it only for phones?

I've found it to be more stable, with a few extra features than Twitter.
Picture posting and location features are the most obvious. Me likey.
