Anyone following me on Twitter last night will already know this, but...
WOOOO THE PROVIDENCE PROPHECIES IS DONE!!!!!!! Well, at least the draft is, but it's hit 146 pages and all I need to do is go back and edit it. The last chapter, Miskatonic Massacre, may be slightly controvertial, but I used all clues from SO to come up with what I'm pretty certain is supposed to be what happened. After an unnecessarily long hiatus caused by increased activity in The Lost Ring, real life, and school, I have finally finished Chapter 5 and am hard at work editing and revising Chapter 6. sweetness... It's fun reliving the experience from the perspective of these stories since I can't get any new ones to enjoy!

Work continues and within the next few days you may see several chapters go up. Meanwhile, I was inspired last night and so I typed up an outline of Books 2 and 3. Tell me what you think.

Chapter 2 UP!
Alright, so I finally got around to transcribing all of chapters 2 and 3 (ugh, 3 was long), and I've finished my revisions of Chapter 2. It, along with a mostly-fixed-up Chapter 1 is now up at a new location, since Fictionpress mangled my formatting.

I'm back, and I've written out chapters 2 and 3. I just need to type them up. I checked the link to see what you guys are talking about and I noticed that Fictionpress did something wierd with the formatting. For one if you see the actual text it has the "<"NAME">" just like the actual IRC names, but FP deleted them for some inexplicable reason. They also did something wierd with the underlining. I'll see if I can fix it. And no, those aren't actual logs, I just made that kind of stuff up. Most of it is made up but highly based on real posts (either here or on SO).

I'm loving reading this as it gives me insight into what the heck was going on when I first discovered ARG to begin with when I was bumbling around like an idiot after reading an article that mentioned unfiction... and you guys had just received all these fun packages!
I still remember my first call to BA, wondering what on earth was going on and what on earth possessed me to call her in the first place... lol... Looking good so far! I liked the craigslist interludes to set the tone. Were the IRC bits from actual logs?
One nitpick: it might be easier to read with some more formatting, especially around the IRC logs. There doesn't seem to be any punctuation separating the names from the speech in the IRC bits, and maybe the IRC actions (join/leave) could be put apart in some way (maybe italics or brackets), which should probably solve the problem of differentiating the IRC parts from the prose. And the craigslist url's came out oddly deformed, stopping after the first period. I'm not sure how much of that is because of oddities the site may have introduced, though. I admit it. I am an EE whore. Even though GMD deserted us I still miss EE terribly. Here are the fruits of that conflict. Once I return from my 2 week trip over Spring Break it will continue. This is not attempting to be 100% factual, mostly because that's impossible (and it makes a slow read).
