On a different topic: an interesting piece of news about Labfly and LG15 is that LG15 is holding its first live, in-character event. Actually, it's occuring right now; the event lasts from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM today, PST. I believe that Sammeeeees had some live in-character meetups, so as an LG15 fan I'm excited to see what Jan can do with this event! |
Where are they doing them????
|
Sherman Oaks, California. Right now, we're all sitting in a chatroom/on the forums waiting for news of what happened.
It's so exciting.

Yeah, Sammeeeees had one live character meet up - randomeis met TallMann & Patricia Moore (briefly) down at the Santa Monica Pier. If there had been more players who lived in the LA area, they could have gone to the Beverly Hills park as well (I'll bet that would have been a great trail to follow).

| I have NEVER watched any LG15 videos. |
As a reference for anybody who wants to catch up on LG15... The show is ARGish in its presentation, so the videos are presented on a variety of different accounts (for different characters). While this makes the show more unique, it also makes it hard for new viewers to catch up, as they must jump between the ten or more accounts to watch the videos in order. Also, some playlists you will find--including ones by LG15 herself--are incomplete, as they (once again, for realism) often don't include videos that the characters don't like or haven't watched.
So... Anybody who wants to watch the series in its entirety, with no account-jumping, can check out my LG15 Playlists.

I have NEVER watched any LG15 videos. But with labfly as a writer, I had to check these latest ones. Interesting. Now I need a good couple of hours to go back and watch them all so I can understand who these people are and why they are part of Bree's life....and why she is now in a cult?
A cult? OMG I pray this is NOT run by any megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur who is going to turn Bree into a jackel
Was "Opening the Box" also written by labfly? It seemed so familiar in style.

Aww, you're welcome. Of course, don't forget that your talent and the incredible grass-roots game you created were the reasons I kept pushing you to attend ARGFest. And, see, you didn't need a fancy presentation at all.
Congrats labfly - I know you are going to be great in this job.

I knew you were in for a great future in the industry (so glad you made it to ARGFest)!!!! And I'm so glad to hear the above news cause I'm not a LG15 follower - I'm feeling selfish cause I am so looking forward to your other project(s).
Guess you didn't know ARGs would turn into a full time PAYING gig, huh?

Congrats to Labfly!
LonelyGirl15 Writer
Jan Libby, aka Labfly (the creator of last year's hit grassroots ARG 'Sammeeeees') has just been announced as a new writer for LonelyGirl15.
You can read the announcement here.
We all have seen that Labfly is an incredibly talented writer and knows the genre of ARGing well. I'm sure she will bring a new boost of energy to the LG15 show.
She was the writer for the most recent LG15 video, " Sing With Me."
