I don't have the clues direct from the web site, but it looks like I've found another clue mistake. Tampa #20:
Here's a puzzle for you to devour, find your way north of A Blob Highly Sou.
Anagram for "Hillsborough Bay", but they left out the "r".
Can someone confirm the text of the clue?

New York coin.
I am fairly certain that the coin was placed around or under a bench behind the Hans Christian Andersen statue in Central Park at 74th Street (East side).
I don't know exactly when the coin was placed there, but I think it was on or before Tuesday, February 20. I know this from speaking to others that I met at the statue on Wednesday, February 21. One of those people said they saw a note in the snow saying "I go it" on Tuesday.
any one know the exact location of the NYC coin in Central Park?

Re: Atlanta Coin
Details about the Atlanta find

yes, please give the details on the Atlanta coin!!!!!
So, I stayed up Monday night and waited for the 29th clue. I got the clue at 3am, and I immediately knew the small park where the Atlanta coin was hidden. I had searched the park at noon Monday, but didn't find the coin. My wife was scared for me to go there alone, because it’s probably the biggest homeless area of the city. She told me to take a baseball bat. I took cash instead.
I was there at 3:45am, and the first thing I saw was an ambulance, a fire truck, and a guy lying in the middle of the road handcuffed. My first thought was, “They’ve killed the guy that found the coin.” As I was trying to find a place to park, I was approached by three scary men. They chased my car around the block until I just decided to pull up next to the ambulance for safety. If I had tried to legally park, I would've surely been mugged... my life taken, and my car stolen... because the nearest lot was a few blocks away down a long dark street. So I negotiated a price with one of the homeless guys at my window to keep me safe while I went to the park. "Lamont", my new escort, took me across the street and into the park.
I asked Lamont what had happened with the hand-cuffed guy laying in the road. Lamont said, "When you live on the street, some things - even when you know them - you don't tell." Wow. A powerful message.
While I was doing all this, a white minivan pulled up and two 20-something guys hopped out while another waited in the get-away car. The two of them saw me and told whoever was on the cell phone, "There's already someone here." I went directly to the place where I thought the coin might be (based on my search earlier in the day). It wasn’t there. The other two guys walked past me to the close end of the park (near the ambulance). I didn’t see them pick up the coin, but they both immediately sprinted back to their van. Rats! Two minutes too late. If I hadn’t been in fear of losing my life, I would’ve had the coin.
I got out of there before the guy lying in the road, and it only cost me $10. A bargain.
By the way, I'm sure Lamont was the one who told the previous poster that the coin had already been found. I told him the whole story. He was very disappointed to hear that someone had just walked away with $10,000 that was hidden "in my park".
The coin was hidden in a small park at the corner of Auburn Ave and Fort Street, next to the I-75/85 overpass. If you know Atlanta, you know this is a scary place - even in the day time. I don't know the name of the park, because the sign was missing. The sign posts are there, but the 2'x4' panel that contains the park name had been stolen. Obviously, someone was using it for a blanket, or something. In the little urban park, there's a curved architectural stone wall that leads to a small, circular fountain. 20 feet from the fountain is the MLK face sculpture without the eyes (from the clue: "the famous man with something mssng"). The coin was hidden somewhere near the fountain or the sculpture. It wasn't there at noon on Monday, so it was placed within the 12 hours prior to the 29th clue.
Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is: Bring a friend and a get-away car, even if you have to split the profits.
By the way, I think this was a great promotional event by Dr Pepper. I really look forward to the next one. And I really hope that the next company won't be deterred by some of the negative comments on this board. This was fun stuff.

yes, please give the details on the Atlanta coin!!!!!
I was there in Atlanta when the coin was found. It was about 3:45am Tuesday morning. I'll give you details if you want (unless the Atlanta winners are lurking and they would like to tell the story). I agree, though... this might have been the worst possible location in ATL to hide the coin - at least as far as safety goes. I was definitely in fear for my life, as I was out there alone.[/quote]

No ones said anything about the Atlanta coin yet. We got there at about 4am on the 21st and there were about 4 other people there, and one of the guys said he'd been checking in the last few days and had not seen to many people. I am interested to know what kind of locations the other ones were in though, the Atlanta coin was put in a VERY bad spot in my opinion. I was approached by about 4 people asking for money, luckily the another 20 or so homeless people accross the street were still asleep when we were looking. While we were looking though we had to be careful to avoid the pools of urine and piles of human waste. What possessed them to think this was a good spot i really don't know, but not knowing if it had been found, or even put out yet was really bothering us after we drove 5 hours to search in a rather sketch part of town. One of the homeless people told us it was found the day before, but we think he was fishing for some cash cause another guy told him what we were all doing.
Anyways, great idea, awesome clues, they were fairly challenging for someone who'd never been to Atlanta, but awfule, terrible, miserable execution.

Boston coin unearthed by officials
The breaking story by the Boston Globe:
I understand the person responsible for placing the coin in the cemetery showed officials where it was-- and it was still there, hidden in the lip of an entrance to a 200 year old crypt. That is just wrong-- when I searched inside the cemetery during its brief opening on Monday, I refused to actually touch any of the graves and focused on the signposts and a few treeholes. In fact, distrubing any of the graves is apparantly a felony-- see the link below:
Well I am wondering if the Boston coin was found illeagally because the area was closed if I should complain about the coin in Calgary. The area I am sure it was in was also closed due to icy conditions and there for no one should have been entering it to search for the coin right?
Oh well I might just be a little bitter because I didn't find it first and it was worth 25000.

Philly clues lead hunters in several contradictory directions; I was out there looking 4 days in a row in the snow, rain and cold. I ended up with 5 parking tickets and a cold. I only met one other person looking and he just stopped by for lunch. I can’t say the experience has left a good taste in my mouth for Dr Pepper. I believe that due to bad PR, people getting upset and local laws being broken Dr Pepper ended the contest before all the coins were found. I have heard no creditable information about where the Philly coin was hidden and who found it. I don’t think Dr Pepper thought this one thru or possibly they wanted customers to be frustrated and upset.
I'm with you - I called the Dr Pepper 972-673-7000 number to try and get them to tell me the location of the coin in Philly and how the clues get you there. The lady I talked to said she did not have the information and that she would have to forward the request on to the promotions department, and that they would call me back. I will let you know if I hear anything else, but feel free to call too because I think the Philly people got screwed.

Good luck to all the boston people eligible for the drawing...i was one of the ones out there at 8am (not overnight)
Dozens is a bit too many. There were probably dozens of people that showed up at various times throughout the last 2-3 days, but not all at once. I am misquoted in the article, too, but I guess it was close enough.
