When you complete the grid, the mines will be placed such that they spell out a phrase. That phrase is a clue to the correct answer.

Still confused
I am still lost.

| Does the minesweeper grid have anything to do with the puzzle? I understand the answer related to the clues at the bottom left of the card, but not the minesweeper grid.

I got worried that I would have to unravel the game but as soon as I saw the Navy logo, I clocked it. Love this card!

One of my favorites so far! Thanks for posting the scan, it gave me a copy to digitally doodle on and solve.

Great card to work out - took me back to my university days when I would waste time playing Minesweeper instead of working on assignments! However, I went down the route of looking up U.S. submarine fleets. Bit of a dead end there

This is definitely one for those of us who don't just randomly click everywhere when playing Minesweeper, eh?

The image doesn't make the animal itself, it makes words that hint toward which animal is the solution.

Yes, I don't doubt it. The point is that (IMHO) it does not look like a you-know-what.
And PS, ta for doing the scanning
