OK, so we have solved the card.

What about the Chinese looking characters in the background?

Anyone know what this says?

My card has the same clues as yours. I just changed the clues accordingly to what MC had said. Im glad they did change them TBH as the answers were a bit sketchy:

6A - Towers in Gondor - Could be 2 - 4
1E - Dante's circle's of hell - 9 (Creating two 9's in one column)
3F - Minimum for a chord - Diff kinds of chords - not just the music type!
8I - Points on a sheriff's star - A quick google image search could be 5 or 7

Im guessing thats why MC changed the answers, if im wrong please correct me... Confused

There seem to be different versions of this card floating about. I have two copies and both differ from perfecto's above. Scan is below.

6A - Towers in Gondor
1E - Dante's circle's of hell

8I - Points on a sheriff's star

The answers seem to be the same (not confirmed yet, my partner, who has the patience of a saint is sudoku-ing her heart out as I write...I really don't have the patience), although I think you could quibble Dante's circles.

Have we seen multiple versions of the same card before? Mine was from Firebox and both were identical.

Mikeyj The Card has been changed due to errors the new questions are on the first post on this thread Smile

I don't think 3 is correct for the holy thing, there are definitely 3 towers in Gondor which would put two number 3's on line A
