I was along the same lines, but I only read line 2.

There was something familiar about the way 'Drool en drinkel in die weib' rolls off the tongue.

Has anyone else spotted the hidden message "Fade away and say danger fear hide"?

Method :

I found if you translate each line in the poem, and form an acronym based on the languages used, you get :

Finish
Afrikaans
Dutch
Esperanto

Afrikaans
Welsh
Afrikaans
Yiddish

etc...

Does anyone know what this means?

8th grade english class helped.

I was really bored in the class and spent the class period memorizing this poem. I looked at it for about a minute before the punctuation gave me a hint, and then like the others, I looked at the picture and knew I had it.

That was a total blast!

I had the same experience as jaykay2, just an inspiration with no real reason. Then, looking at it closer, I was confirmed in my beliefs by the picture and lines 5 and 7, and even the title of the card, and decided to try it, and as I suspected, I was right.

What else could it possibly have been, if you think about it? I think this is my new favorite Razz

I can't read any of it off the card catalog. Sad

The very earliest possible day I'll get this card (if I'm lucky) is next Saturday.

Sorry, scanner broke after it was dropped...
Each line was from a different language.

Biggest clues come from lines 5, 18 and 21

It's a poem, but each line is from a different language-consequently I'm not going to transcribe it.

But there is a question-'Which Poem'.

I think that it is:
