Random fact
NewGuard Bridges.
7 bridges connecting 2 islands to two sides of a river is significant.
It relates to an old tale of an army being blocked into the city using these bridges.
There is no way to cross every bridge ONLY once (I saw this in an episode of "Numb3rs") Making it impossible to cross the river one bridge at a time without backtracking
Maybe this has been said or its in the wrong location. I figured since i noticed it id share my observation.
Perplexity is full of random math facts. maybe this will help somehow.

The online map is constantly updated as people upload card backs. Additionally, I have a less interactive full image map. Unfortunately, the full map is not a single image because the version of PHP on my web host barfs when creating a 4080x3840 image, so I had to split it into three vertical "stripes" of 1360x3840. My eventual intention is to use some iPhoto hacks to make a poster.

I actually had plans to make a Flash-based zoomable/scrollable map at one point. But I had planned on just linking the files direct from the Card Catalog so that it was always up to date, and then Brian converted all the images on there to PNG (which Flash can't import remotely like it can for JPG).
I guess I could update the map I posted earlier though, I still have the original file around here somewhere.

You lot are way ahead of me!
I'll give that a go tomorrow when my second order of cards comes through (20 packs - don't tell the wife!)

Actually, you will find that if you combine the cards into groups of four (by color, suit, and the colored corners/edges), they fit together quite well. These groups of four then stack in columns from right-to-left. We have an online system already to piece them together using this layout: http://perplexcitycardcatalog.com/mapgrid.html

Hi,
I was just thinking, there's a free bit of software called autostitch, and you pass in lots of images that match up or overlay, and it stitches them together into one image.
I think if you had decent quality and well-cropped images for the map pieces, it would help match them up.
EDIT: I tried it with a few but it didn't work. I think they actually have to overlap for it to work properly
