I've found someone who's already completed the puzzle, but didn't specifically ask what the answer was.
However, I did ask two good questions to see if we're even on the right track.
Edit: Just to clarify, I haven't heard back from them yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

When I see the translation like that, It looks to me that a possibility for the first word/portion would be "achieve". Dunno about everything else, though.

The clue says it's not about morse or dinosaurs - so Cath told me it was Stenography, more specifically the Pitman shorthand. Upon finding a gazillion different alphabets / consonant sounds, I came up with this translation:
ch f m tm ch ch(or j) t s_
yeah...
