It's a thing of beauty Mima...!
Something struck me when I was looking at it though...where's the harbour? I've not found any mentions of one. It needn't necessarily have one, but I was thinking back to the mentions of the sub (and the sunken ship suggests that it was a harbour at some point...navy mentioned too)...hmmm.

And again, thanks to BriEnigma for the new piece, which I have attached to one of the pieces from the tour guide.

An updated version of the map, with the photo of the programme in. The two nearest stations are now out of place a little, to allow for the graphics.
I'm not sure if that means that the stations are in the area covered, or that the scale of the images are too big. They are subway stations, (unlike Grand Frederick's station which is overground as well) so it is possible that we would not be able to see them.
We are definitely missing a lot of pieces. Looking at the cover of the Tour Guide (thanks DogsHead) if the scale was much bigger, we would be able to see Ascendancy Point on the left of the image. And we can't.

Muchos Thank Yous!
I started the think the grid lines were the seams of the cards - but you're right they do look like gridlines.

good work seej :) i know the 'other ppl do it' argument doesnt hold too much weight, but there are websites i know that take over 1000 screen caps just for a 45min long episode of smallville, and dont get shouted at, and thats in america where copyright seems to be a much bigger issue than here. so im sure you (and unfiction) will be ok :)
on closer inspection i take back what i said about interlacing, can see the vertical lines now too. they look like they could be guide lines from adobe illustrator or something.
rach =)

For all of you begging for a screen capture, here you go. Already posted this elsewhere but I figure it makes sense to post here too. This was the clearest frame and was captured direct from my video using my TV card. As far as copyright goes, are the Beeb really gonna have a problem with this? C'mon - it's a single frame, mainly featuring someone else's artwork, and there's no profit being made. I can understand objections to posting the whole show here, but making a big deal over this would seem petty in the extreme - it's not like they're being deprived of any money or anything (hell, it might even help boost viewing figures for the show).
Anyway, here's the image:

ok i better just say this. first- its gunna b very hard to get a good clean pic of the map (no refresh lines) from the tv. i tried and failed. second- i cant convert the dvd i burned the culture show to into AVI or any computer readable format from the DVD-RAM it has burned it in. and finally- just as potus said, it could well be highly illegal to post stills or any form of image of the show on the internet s the prog has more than likely got a massive copyright on it.
BUT... are the puppet masters showing the map for us to only view the map, not copy it? i think so myself

The BBC still uses RealPlayer files - yes? (.ram)
Was it discussed that it was illegal to share stills of this video - or is that limited to disallowing transmission of the file itself? I don't need to have the video (though I would love to see it) but we must know what the city looks like. Must we not? Of course - we must.
Can we have a frame capture pretty please with cubes on top? Anyone ??

I've taken a photo of the TV screen, and am fairly sure that the piece shown last night fits like this. If someone has a way of getting a better quality image it would be greatly appreciated!

On the BBC programme there was a screenshot of a map in the same style - a whole screenful though.
Let's hope someone recorded it..
