Hints Thanks
This is a fantastic card, would not have solved it without all the hints on her, itsmyyard, you were most helpful - you relieved a lot of the pressure I was under and now I feel like a champion.

See my comment above. You're on the path but you stopped too soon.

I am still a little confused. Since I never play sudoku, I am not sure what to do with the spreadsheet. Anyone card to pm me the answer or clues?
I tried

and two other guesses and I got locked out...

I'm interested in the map too. At first I thought it was a print of

| the surface of a moon of Jupiter
|
but there are also some red rhombiod marks under the title panel and that sort of map would not be a useful clue until after you have solved the card.
I think that this might be part of the unauthorised alterations to the cards, presumably made by CT, like the Risk clues and the Beale puzzle on #223 Secret Location.
Darkhuman emailed Mind Candy about #223 and they confirmed that the code was not part of the original card. So I have emailed MC and I'll let you know when/if I get a reply.

Map
What about the map in the background? It looks somewhere like Europe, but not realistically. Other than tha the numbers are placed from 1-16 in no particaular order. maybe its a connect the dots.

I have now submitted a hint for "Silvers, for slow starters" listed on the silver page of this forum index.
I suggest that you take a look at that hint (after Rand0m has posted it), and then PM me if you are still completely in the dark. |
It's there and, just for good measure, Fretty added another one on page two of the thread between Cinana sending hers and me posting it (darn time zones).

I'm getting lots of requests for hints on this, and I have now submitted a hint for "Silvers, for slow starters" listed on the silver page of this forum index.
I suggest that you take a look at that hint (after RandOm has posted it), and then PM me if you are still completely in the dark.
Remember that someone on this forum has already posted the tool to help you. Take a look at that. See what you can between that "thing" and "my hint".
The answer box, as I said 2 posts ago, I was SO close, requires 2 words. Those 2 words is a play on the answer. Think about it. Do a bit more research on those moons individually.
As I also have posted on my profile page for Perplexcity, my favorite quote:
What is hidden in plain sight, is hidden best.
