I got confused.. I thought when YOU guys say 11/8/11 I thought you meant 8th November and not 11th August!
Awesome! Sorry, I wouldn't have asked if I knew... i'm not that impatient.

The colors still separated the letters, but it wasn't necessary.

excellent! I had a feeling that the grid would be pixel art. So the colors of the "op art" was a distraction? and the directory names was just a way for them to distinguish one "dotdot" from another, nicely done.
No need to spoiler tag an obscured URL link to an image, just specify that clicking on it will reveal the final solution:

Would someone mind explaining the facebook puzzle/code more and keeping us informed on updates? I don't have a facebook and don't plan on making one for this. Thanks.

So the clicky boxes spelled out the code after the dashes were removed?

I don't get it; I even went to the SA forum where the guy posted how he got the answer.
My question: What files? What file names? I think I missed that part.
I'd love to understand exactly how he solved it, seeings as I spent most of my day trying to figure it out!
The "morse code" things. Each file had a name like dot--dot or something. the dashes were trolls. You go to the coordinance on the grid specified by each and treat the dashes as blank spaces and the dots as where to fill in. Viola it works.
I'm honestly so happy to know it was actually solved.
Thank you! I get it now. Now that I understand what he did, I can finally have peace and sleep well!

Redirection on facebook? Try "like"-ing the 5 Gum page.
