And as it turned out, I was ten minutes late to the drop site, dammit. I'm so sorry if you missed me!
But I got a few packs of the icefly gum on the way to Chicago, so it wasn't a whole bust, ARG-wise.

I'll see what I can do so that I can thank you in person.

Okay, I've decided that I'll be at the drop site at noon on Thursday. Look for the girl with a hat with a ton of pins. I'll stick around for about ten minutes or so.

I'm finding it hilarious and a wee bit frustrating that I'll be in Chicago not even 5 minutes from the drop site for three days. Maybe I'll see you guys around XD

There was a total of 4 people following you up the stairs. There was a guy with a studio-quality camera and a guy with the Icefly shirt. There were the Chicago Drop crew. There was a young lady who was there because of thew music fest drop. The the Fatman in Black, who congratulated you and shook your hands was me.
And again, congrats.
You're right. I had forgotten that the guy in the icefly shirt was there, but I didn't even see the girl.
There were actually three members of the drop team. The third guy I saw twice. He was wearing an orange shirt and plaid shorts and was hanging out by the first drop site. After I grabbed the envelope, I called my fiance to figure out where he was and while I was waiting for him to answer, he walked by. I told him I was sorry, but I beat him to it. And he replied that he was running it. After we got our tube, we filmed a quick shot back at the first site and he was there again, presumably waiting for the other two guys to be done so they could all take off together.

Indeed, congrats, and welcome to Unfiction!
Next time there's a drop, it'd be great to have you on our team

Decided to register to let you all know how it went down. I'm one half of the couple that got the icefly here in Chicago. Sorry we beat you to it as you guys seemed to have a lot more coordination than we did. But I suppose that's how it goes.
Anyway, my fiance (urisas42) and I decided to hop in the car and head downtown to wait for the drop. We were just getting off the expressway when I saw that the pdf was available. I grabbed the laptop and the 4G hot spot, because the stupid PDF's wouldn't load on our iphones, got the coordinates, and we were off. I thought we were going to be way behind because we got stuck in traffic on Michigan by the Taste, but we finally got to Lake Shore. He dropped me off and I went running. Got to the building at the park and was pretty sure I had missed it, because the envelope was hidden under a planter and was barely visible. But I grabbed it, snapped a quick picture for Twitter, headed back to the car, and texted the number. Except that I texted the wrong number and didn't realize it at first.
So we started driving, figuring we were going to have to go a bit further away, but we should have stayed put, because the second site was the Museum of Contemporary Art, which was RIGHT there. Traffic, one way streets, and stupid pedestrians hampered us a bit, but we finally got back to where we started from. And then went into the wrong door. Oops. We confused some guy at the employee entrance to the museum, but finally went around to the front. We ran up the stairs, followed by a guy with a camera and someone else, who I can only assume was CarnageBlack.
We gave the girl at the desk our key and she pointed us to the box. We opened it up and took out our icefly. Then we tried to plug it in there because we were just so excited, but the outlets in the lobby of the museum weren't turned on.
We went across the street to a little park where they interviewed us. They asked for our speculations about the icefly. My fiance is convinced that ubisoft is involved and when he mentioned that, the guys did get a little weird, so, who knows? They also wanted to make sure they got our usernames from the site, because they said that there was something else in store for us. I wonder if they must us specifically or that there was to be a second drop or something. Guess we'll find out on the 15th. Hopefully I can get the day off of work.
We got home and plugged in the icefly. It's pretty awesome, even though one of its wings is broken. I unplugged it, because, well, I'm not really sure why, but now I wish I hadn't because of reports of blinking. Ours has yet to do so and I'm hoping it won't while we're sleeping.
Again, sorry we beat you all to it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok. So someone outside Unfiction found it. That's pretty cool. So someone new getting into Args.

Keep in mind, this CANT be the last step. The other ARG's these folks ran were way longer...something tells me the chicago teams gonna have a lot more to do once all the locations are locked in.
Doubt it, maybe over the weekend or something. As far as I know, Step 1: get the envelope, Step 2:Follow the directions to the box.
