My original 999th recognizer kill wasn't recognized, I assume because the FL server logged me out (I did it while finishing a paper over a course of hours), so is it still possible to get 999 kills?
Anyway, anyone notice that the logo on the rotating lightcycle look a bit similar to CCP Game's logo?

The clear plastic envelope is due to USPS damaging it. I've had packages delivered within it before and they usually say something like "We apologize for the inconvenience..." or something and explain the damage was done in transit.
I just got a second 89 pin too, though. I thought it was kind of weird, but ah well. If only they'd send me an SP pin, even though I didn't blast the 999...

The extra swag just seems to be FL not exactly keeping track of what exactly they sent to who, and thus they're sending more to ensure everyone does get at the least what they needed. I got an extra SP pin/note because I hadn't initially killed 999 recognizers, and did so only after the package reports started coming in.
The clear plastic however sounds like a USPS screw up.
Makes sense. A lot more sense than the people are Flynn Lives running over the package on purpose, haha. Case closed there.
Also I just realized I posted this in the wrong thread- my bad

So about a week ago my Girl Friend got her 89 and SP pin w/ stickers in one envelope. Nothing outside of normal.
...Then today she gets two more envelopes. One had 89 pin w/ 2 stickers, and the other had an SP pin also w/ 2 stickers.
To add to the strangeness, the envelope with the SP pin came in within a clear plastic envelope, and the regular manila envelope that we are all familiar looks to have been run over by a car, and has sticky soda drips on it. Was this damage intentional, or the postal service screwing up?
So now she has an extra set of swag, and we both are really really confused.

The vast majority of those images are from the helloflynn.com site. What I don't get is where these sites like ComingSoon.net get off putting THEIR watermark on someone else's copyright materials? Disney ought to stuff a C&D and takedown letter up their posteriors for that - it's not their stuff to mark. My bets are they don't get any kind of permission to do that, nor repost them to their site.

The Shadow
There's more than just the images we found via HelloFlynn.com via Space Paranoids online (though those are included in the images). Check out the link, there's a side shot of the lightcar in motion (different from the quad shown on HelloFlynn), some landscape/scene shots, and some images of the new lightcycles in motion.
Slashfilm has posted them too (and in high res):
http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/05/10/26-new-photosconcept-art-from-tron-legacy/
The new images are not expressly cited as coming from HelloFlynn.com though, SlashFilm lists a couple source sites but one is a fan blog for Garrett Hedlund, which doesn't seem to cite a source and another was ComingSoon.net. Going by ComingSoon.net write-up, the other images were released direct from Disney. (ComingSoon has apparently watermarked all the images they have up though
, plus they seem to be smaller than the ones SlashFilm has up [SF's source did a small watermark also])

Wonder if we'll get any new swag from entering all those codes. Maybe not, cause someone would've posted about getting something by now....
Hehe, wouldn't it be cool if we ended up getting a 'cryptic e-mail video' from Kevin Flynn, that was automated from his old server to be sent out after successful entering of all 18 codes embedded in the 'Space Paranoids', telling us even more about current state of his 'Recognizer/Lightcycle modifications', I would prefer THAT over more swag, we ARGs been damned spoiled....hehe, in a good way of course.
