Okay, we've made some progress on one of the images over a couple of hours here. ("We," in this case, being Jason, Sylvia, and Electric Keet.) We got to the previously "de-noised" version of the lightcycles by swapping columns of color in the image region over into the region of color-bars, then shifting the image data left into the region with the rest of the image. Presto, lightcycles, as advertised. So, we repeated the process, noticing that there seemed to be interleavable regions of color in different columns. We selected chunks of colors and brought them together, one column at a time. We did entire columns (to avoid having this just be wishful manipulation), modified by the "comb" pattern that we used to resolve the original image (because it seemed to be key to everything.) We managed to get the colors mostly-coherent. The exact ordering of the color columns may not be deterministic (and may be wrong); we had to make choices when we moved columns around, and we often had nothing to go on about which side should be moved to meet the other. The light and dark blue lines, and the background colors on the right, have a few interesting properties now: The light and dark blue lines and the background colors repeat themselves vertically. There's a region that's yellow all the way across: that region marks the end of the pattern, and below it, the lines begin over from the top of the image. (Note: We did NOTHING to the image to move things vertically. This is a real pattern, we didn't make it.) Also, if you treat the light and dark blue lines as interchangable, there are a pair of places where the pattern has symmetry for a large area around a point. More interestingly, they're IDENTICAL, save for colors (the backgrounds are different in both, and some dark lines are light in mirror-image, and from one cycle to the other.) (By the way, we believe the double-wide blue lines are actually two lines next to each other, since we've found a place where there's a dark and light line together, mirrored with a double-wide dark line.) We also noticed that there are seven colors used in the colored region, which correspond amusingly well to ROYGBIV. (We're calling the light and dark blue lines "blue" and "indigo" to make that correspondence.) Nothing's immediately decoding here, so we thought we'd push this up to the collective brain before we go to bed or insane (not sure which would come first, to be honest.) - Jason (Edited to shrink image descriptions. Original image descriptions follow:) colors resolved: We swapped columns of colors (sometimes only swapping regions in the "comb" pattern of some lines but not others), in order to bring regions of like color together - this created new columns of color, and eventually resolved the colors to this. symmetries highlighted: We found some symmetric regions in the light-and-dark blue bands, where lines were identical out from a central point. There were two symmetric regions, and the pattern in both was identical. We've drawn white recticles around both regions in this picture detail of symmetries: This is a highlight of the symmetries we found, with a pixel-ruler drawn in on the left that we used to check some details.
This may be laughable ... but has anyone considered using old-style 3d glasses on the colour bar images or other images - I mean the glasses with a red lens and a blue lens? I tried on a variety of png and jpeg images including the lightcycles, the quiz gif and the background gif but did not find anything noticeable.
I have even tried applying stereoscpic methods to view many images - still nothing.
Just some thoughts.

none of the other doors are open elsewhere in the poster.
The fact that the font is the same doesn't suprise me- after all the whole thing centers around and the original took place inside of encom's computer system.
oh..sorry Broklynite...what I meant is that the color bars- although a blue grey scale vs colors of the rainbow..look vaguely familar....but not exactly like the lightcycle color bars minus all the "noise" hatching. just wishful thinking that there is some secret code again in plain sight to figure out...but so far most of the puzzles have been pretty blatant....I think the codes hidden in the still frames of the recent movie seems like the most hidden clue so far...

adding the /event mask
Just wondered, seeing as how the trailer puzzle had a similar background as the cycles, if it might be intended to overlay with with those images.

I tried it earlier, including every row turned black and white (of the original, not your cleaned up ones) as well as with this one nad my barcode reader doesnt see anything.

Maybe there a way to derive

form the image code, the URL names and the color pattern and we all just failed to find it in time. And 42E moved the game along. Or there’s something else entirely still out there. It really hard to know I’m sure there still stuff to try but it hard to know if we’re heading down the right logical path.
Excuse my bad memory...but did anyone try decoding the black bar code on the resolved lightcycle image - page 1 of this thread...
n8xd93f2rk077px1n6wdq839m0 - colors resolved.png
Trying to reverse engineer the bar code with something tangible - like a website...it almost seems like the bar code 'could' be something...you never know...although I would not know where the bar "starts or stops"
anyways see below: example of bar codes "looking like a code" and the actual extracted black bar from that image.
just to clarify: I did not extract this number...it is just a placeholder for me to try to find somethling like it

It sure seem like the numbers imbedded in the picture should have meant something at least. Maybe there a way to derive

With the light cycle puzzle I really like the idea that this may be a hidden message that would lead us deeper independent of the main Flynn lives page since if feels kind of weird to me if everything keeps starting form the Flynn lives group it kind of leaves it feeling like the Flynn live origination already knows everything there just not telling us directly. I think it would be more interesting if they leave us some clues that can help us dig up new information rather than imbedding hidden messages and codes directly in to the Flynn lives webpage content. But I guess these kinds of hidden messages and pages are fine for the more Meta content like the trailers and event videos since they don’t fit in to the Flynn lives world directly. But maybe that kind of stuff will show up later.
At any rate I don’t know if I am completely ready to give up on the image puzzle. I’m still going to try some stuff as I come up with it and relay it when I am finished.
Don't forget that 24E could deploy new code for the image puzzle at any time, with any new keys that they desire, so there may not be any "undiscovered" keys hidden there, unless its part of the game we've missed. If its not time for us to know yet, I doubt that the keys are there yet. At least, thats the way I'd do it, since its too easy to do it that way.

This image looks like it may be the source image for the color portions from the lightcycle schematics.
This is what the colors are supposed to look like before they got all messed up with the pixel shifting. Least thats what im thinking after looking at it a bit.
So do you think this is still a clue?
maybe given to us to help us "better" see what it is that we are supposed to decipher...
or just filler specialFX to make the puzzles look cool...since we already solved the obvious puzzle....and "tada" here is what the finished product is.

At least what one of the two is supposed to look like.
