Bryce was in the hospital when most of them died, so he couldn't have done the murders.

And, Bryce made a heroic choice to sacrifice himself to save the world from chaos.  He was a sad, creepy and almost tragic figure, but he gave himself up to save everyone else.  He deserves to be remembered for that brave act.  Maybe you can write about him and what happened in New York.
