I got one, too!
Agent C. Smith arrived just as I was going out of town for Christmas. When I came home, my computer was toast. I finally got my computer back last night, and found this thread. Here's my letter.

Maybe this would help your cause.

Am I late for the party?
I'm late for the party, aren't I?
I got the same letter as Mapmaker and Rowan. It's got a nice squiddy watermark that didn't scan well.

Honestly, I didn't poke around all that much. I'm nearly positive the packages are OOG as my letter referenced the limerick contest.
That said, I think the people who were chosen, were chosen because the Cthecret Cthanta could find our addresses easily
Just a guess.

You, and me, too.
I was so busy with Sammeeeees during the summer that I sort of pushed EE to the back burner. But this year, I'm paying attention.

These letters are *so* awesome, along with the "Agent Smiths"
/me applauds whoever is behind them!
Although I admit to some jealousy
I must not be active enough in SO or EE - a new New Year's Goal! "Become more active!"

I just updated the whois on my domain, which is where I'm guessing that address came from... so I'm ready for any packages that come my way (hint, hint).

It was sent to my old address, so agent C Smith was diverted about 900 miles out of his way... hence the delay.
Here is the letter I received (I'll just leave the old address... it's not mine anymore).
Sounds like you and Sid should update your whois to optimize ARG deliveries.
/me hopes book 3 isn't started with a package to Lovek.

I received an agent and letter in yesterday's mail (which I neglected to check until today).
It was sent to my old address, so agent C Smith was diverted about 900 miles out of his way... hence the delay.
Here is the letter I received (I'll just leave the old address... it's not mine anymore).
ETA: ignore the black line on the right side. That's not on the actual page, my scanner just sucks.

My letter is different though. I think Cthulu has been watching the 1-18-08 forum.
Caught, red-handed.
