I don't really see how the title of the card fits in with the puzzle. 'End Of The Line'. I decided to take the letters at the ends of the four lines and see what I got: 'xsey', an anagram of 'sexy'. I decided to see if the pattern would continue: the letter at the end of each line, having removed one letter, was 'ikel', 'like'. Looks good! Next, 'scro', 'orcs'.
Hmmm. 'Sexy like orcs'.
This guy was perverse.

I got the answer, but can't work out how 'I aid the builder'. Anyone worked that bit out?
Edit: Ok, I found it. Gyvann is refered to as
'Holy Gyvann the Builder.'

I'm a nut that way
Yeah I'm known for over thinking some of these. After all I was the only one examining a statue at the san fran. event because it "was diferent and it may be a clue"
.... One of it's colored spot lights had burt out.
But I still looked at it from head to toe.

i think this could be something to do with god because the part of the riddle "my power of three, my self as one, divine, holy." could be reffering to the trinity.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
sharpening stone of some kind or a water stone
I think "waterstone" or "Japanese waterstone" posibly "whetstone" is correct but on my 3rd try I put a space between water and stone.
look here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whetstone_(tool)
it fits all the discriptions as well as has 3 diferant grades (3 powers)
Let me know if that works.

Full transcription:
MANY passages in the holy books of
Gyvann are extremely obscure
and hard to understand. This
one, for instance, has baffled scholars and theologists for
centuries and has spawned dozens of different
interpretations:
Precious are the stones, my children, precious that which is dug from the
earth. Precious are the rubies, the diamonds, the emeralds and the topaz. I
held fast to the amethysts. They mingled them with sapphires, so I threw
them both from me. Only one choice remained and from then nothing was
right. My children I did not despair, as you must not despair. A quadru-
ped appeared before me, its middle leg held proudly forward. I turned my
back to it and strode forward. But after only 20 ammot the light was upon
me. Precious, my children, is the light.
However, Gyvann could also make himself
quite readily understood, as in this little
riddle. What does it refer to?
I HAVE NO VISAGE, BUT FACES SIX,
I AID THE BUILDER BUT AM NOT BRICKS,
MY EDGES ARE TWELVE, MY POWER THREE,
MY SELF IS ONE, DIVINE, HOLY.

The actual riddle on this card (As no-one seems to have posted it)
I have no visage, but faces six
I aid the builder but am not bricks,
my edges are twelves, my power threee,
my self is one, divine, holy.
