This was a fun card to solve. It's only one of the few that I enjoyed solving.

of course she could have an extra 5 minutes of packing time depending on how you understand the question. by my reckoning:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the last item goes in the dryer at 115 mins. the dryer takes 10 mins. the last item is ironed at 115 mins also. the ironing takes 5 mins, so now, at 120 mins, she is free to pack.
or does she like to sit in front of the dryer watching the clothes spin round?

I figured 4 of the 6 I needed on my own, then peeked (
), but finished the work out to make me feel better.
W1 and W2 are what's in the wash, D is the dryer, I is the Iron, F is finished sets, and the codes are for set (letter) and piece (number). For example, the corset (4th set reading normally, 2nd piece) would be D2. The top row is the time scale, measured by 10's with dot markers at the fives.

It's soup, but here's what you have to do: quote me, then change the tags from spoiler to code, and preview. That should align all the bits.
Of course, spoilerizing code would make life SO much easier.

Inefficiency?
I'm not much for the washing and ironing, but I think we may be missing something here. Surely once that first load has gone in the washing machine, Tippy can then be packing WHILE it washes? Does she have to sit and watch the machine spin?!
I guess the assumption is that she can't start packing until everything is clean, dry and ironed, but for the average girl (I can say this cos I am one) it's all the other stuff which takes time to pack!
Obviously the solution ignores this - but personally, I would do it that way!
One other thing - KingOfWrong - I'd be intrigued to see that Gantt chart, as I'm struggling to see how it all gets done.

I don't know but it sure as hell sounds like somewhere I want to be
I have to say this is my favourite card so far, not because of the puzzle but because of the other "stuff" hehe

Is it just me, or has anyone else wondered what the hell kind of 'glamorous weekend' might require the use of a milk maid costume, catsuit and toga?

(Solution)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"[bikini, milk maid, cat suit, tai chi, toga, v-neck] have a total drying time of 115 mins" - they do indeed, and this is (by 5 minutes) the shortest of all 84 possible drying times. The only way to get <130 is to start with a Cool wash, making >=125 minutes... and then the order of the washes matters to avoid introducing a bubble into the drying pipeline. 125 minutes is possible (I can provide a GANTT chart to prove it...) and so 55 minutes is confirmed...

Confirmed Solve:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
55 minutes left for packing
How I worked it out (probably other better ways!)...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
drying time is critical and the 6 outfits which have the least total drying time are: bikino & sarong, milk maid costume, tai chi uniform, cat suit, toga & v-neck jumper, mini skirt and patterned tights. They have a total drying time of 115 mins.
You can't start drying anything until you have washed it and the quickest wash is 10 minutes giving a minimum of 125 minutes. It is possible to wash, dry and iron all these items in this time and so the shortest time left for packing is 55 minutes.

By my estimation,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The combo of Milk Maid, Cat Suit, Bikini and Sarong, Tai Chi, Toga, and Black Trousers and Corset have a max drying time of 120, leaving 60 for packing. Alas, 60 is not the correct answer...

As far as washing (only) goes,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there are exactly two ways to complete the wash in 90 minutes
Edit:
Oops. Screwed up my calculations.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Yes, drying time is by far the most important thing. There are some combinations (Bikini, LBD, Corset, Tai Chi, Jeans, V-Neck) which cannot be dried in under 3 hours - that particular set needs at least 190 minutes of dryer time!

Another nice puzzle.
I can get it down to a total of:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
130 minutes, leaving 50 for packing
My method started off scientific, then became a bit more random. I found it useful to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at drying times. As only one item can go in at a time, these are immutable.
From that, I eliminated a few options. But you then need to put the remainder together in the best way, which I thought would be:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
to get the drying and ironing started as soon as possible, otherwise it's just wasted time.
Happy to post my answer in full if needs be, but I have a feeling it's not optimal just yet.

Ah, but surely the trick is in finding the critical path... like crossing the Rickety Bridge, some expensive-looking things might end up being free.

though not a correct approach, it did make it a lot easier. I mainly concentrated on getting things done over the same time periods, but I didn't have her constantly ironing, which felt wrong, hence I imagine my time can be beaten

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The ballgown - Dry Clean Only - is out, so that leaves Tippy 9C6 = 84 choices of outfits to pack. It's probably reasonable - though tedious - to consider each of these separately.
Working the other way - from the 4C2+5C2+6C2 = 31 possibilities for the first full wash - is likely to lead to partial outfits, and a much bigger evaluation space...

So far the best I can do is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
155 mins, which leaves 25 for packing
But as I'm no project manager, I imagine that can be bettered. If it proves correct, I'll happily demonstrate my method. I get doing all the washing and drying, but hasn't she heard of a travel iron?
