Sorry for bringing this up, but I just solved the card and I had some thoughts:
The correct solution assumes that you treat the story as a pointer to a regular clock. The story's a metaphor, but it gets muddled with Sinister and Dexter.
I think it's supposed to be a pun - sinister and dexter are left and right hand, so the two brothers are a pair of hands. This is clearly a pointer to the clock.
It's tortured reasoning, but it's a blue card, so it's not out of the question.
I'm glad you posted this - I got the answer immediately after clocks were mentioned, but then read all the pages of the thread and got confused by the Sinister/Dextra thing, as it does seem to indicate left/right.
Pair of hands... haha!

So everyone seems happy with the meaning of the letters and numbers of the blacklight text, but what about "Electric splash"?

Dammit! this one I got straight away but got the number out by 3 minutes!
I just assumed they started at noon and it was just a case of

and so on
But they didn't accept my answer of

Founder's Ball
Item of note (might be mentioned earlier if so Trout me, but I didn't see it)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
7:38pm (the solution to this card) at gatehouse 1 is the time and location to enter the Founders Ball where the cube was stolen.

Whoa there! Calm down and stop yelling. If you peek back earlier in the thread for this card (there are only 5 pages, as compared to 40-something for some of the more difficult cards), you will see that yes, in fact, those initials were those of the cube catburglars and have proven useful in various points in the game. For this, I must lovingly present a trout.

JUST A THOUGHT
THE LETTERS C V K Q EMIND ME OF SOMETHING I'VE READ IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS
I THINK THERE WERE INITIALS IN THE LEAKED EMAILS
ALSO THEY STRIKE ME AS POSSIBLY SIMILAR TO THE 1ST TEAM IN THE CUBE THEFT
I KNOW REALLY SKETCHY - BUT RUNNING ON INFORMATION OVERLOAD AND DON'T HAVE MY NOTES!!

Anyone else noticed the slight distortion on the blue border in the top right hand corner? Actually... Noticing it now, all the top right card in each set of four has the distortion.
Noticed its only the cards with the map on the back with the 'turn over' distortion in the corner.
Yet a further observation being that a few of the cards with a map on the back do not have this fault on them... Although most do...
...hmm

Can somebody please direct me to where this is?
Thanks

BB? Maybe another player in the Cube theft?
21 to 24? Gatehouse numbers?
4? Gatehouse number?
C? My money is still on Sarah Covington (and all that talk of “shoes” still bugs me)
V? We know this one is “ a true believer” and pretty nasty
K? The Advisor
Q? Bernardo Holyoake
Got this one today and spotted the text by complete luck. It reminds me of an email header in a way, 4: C,V,K,Q being the recipient, (For C,V,K and Q)
Sorry, thinking allowed also, I do like the use for another card theory though

Was convinced I knew the answer on this, and typed it in. Wrong. Tried again, one minute either side, wrong, wrong. Checked on here, realised I was in fact right, but I'd put a dot in place of a colon.
Silly European upbringing... now I'm locked out for 24 hours....
