I'm definitely more than excited for a little Boston Unfiction meet! The more the merrier! Unfortunately, the Red Sox game is essentially sold out (nothing but single seats left). But I'm all for the Freedom Trail, or even just sharing a meal at Quincy Market. Gup, I'm assuming you will keep me posted! WOOHOO!
Yes, I had a great time! I'm sorry you missed my posts on the subject.
I caught the early mroning ferry from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth, then drove the some of the Lighthouse trail to Halifax. Stopped off at Peggy's Cove to see the SwissAir 111 monument and of course shoot several dozen photos of the lighthouse. Stayed at the Waverly Inn in Halifax, had dinner at Salty's on the waterfront. Skipped the side trip excursion to P.E.I., in order to spend a couple hours at the Maritime Museum, and then set off for the pretty dull drive across New Brunswick to Houlton.
I had a great time, only wish I could have spent a couple days there instead of driving though so quick. I'll have to go back someday.
Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend the Waverly Inn...they have a great little place, for a good price. My 'economy' room was perfect, and for just $100 CDN a night.

I can't believe I missed this
No one ever comes up here, and most of the ARGfest stuff is stateside so I didn't think to look. Sorry FB, would have liked to have met up with ya! Did you enjoy yourself?

WOO!
EXTREME CLOSEUP! WHOOOOOOAAAAA!
Seriously though, thanks to Fireball, Gupfee and M for sharing a meal with me and two of my buddies. I had a great time and hope they did too. And of course, Pimp Daddy and the boys were in full effect, tearing up Sissy K's near Quincy Market later in the evening. Chicago was Sinatra's kind of town, but Boston is mine.

The Meeting
Fireball and I met up with Lou and 2 of his friends at PF Changs for frou-frou drinks and very nice chinese food. Here is the photographic evidence. I think Lou has a new avatar.

ARG Meet 'n Greet Saturday July 19
The latest suggestion for Saturday evening is to meet for dinner at PF Chang's in the theater district.

What do folks think? Feel free to suggest other meeting places. I thought a restaurant would be good so that our minor friends could join us if they would like to (/me waves to dnbmathguy and Mootwo).

Don't think I'm going to have a chance to get to the beach house, unfortunately mott. It's going to be a crazy stoopid road trip. Here's the itinerary of where I'll be staying:
7/12 Mooresville, NC (staying with a friend)
7/13 Allentown, PA (staying with a friend)
7/14 Gorham, NH
7/15 Bar Harbor, ME (hopefully staying in a tent if I can get a campsite, but have a backup plan for hotel in case I don't or it rains.)
7/16 Halifax, NS
7/17 Houlton, ME (home of the Boy With The Leaking Boot Statue! Look for me on the houlton.net webcam! And also be sure to explore houlton.com, which I'm convinced is in-game.)
7/18 Gupfee, MA (going to Weird Al concert in Hampton Beach, NH!)
7/19 Gupfee, MA
7/20 Wheaton, MD (staying with friend)
7/21-7/26 Norfolk, VA (KKPsi/TBSigma convention, the actual destination of this trip.)

Mini ARG Beach-Fest?
I'll go out on a limb here and offer my beach home as a mid-Atlantic location for a meeting while you're in the area FB. Scrappy might even be moved into the local area by then. It will be the last time I am able to make this offer since the house is currently for sale. I'm located within walking distance of both Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches which insures a wide range of restaurant and nightlife choices.
